Transformers: Adventures (Robots in Disguise) Legends Powerglide

Powerglide

I recently found out that the Takara release of Powerglide as part of the Adventures (Robots in Disguise) toyline was remolded from the Hasbro version. A circular indent was molded on his chest for his scannable badge, which is why I tracked one down. If not for the mold variation I wouldn’t have even bothered. Bombshell and Shrapnel also have this variation. I’m still trying to track down a Shrapnel. The Takara version only has a few differences. Powerglide’s grey parts are now white, which looks really great, though it is less G1 accurate. He has an Autobot logo on his wings. The other main difference is in how they painted his cockpit. I like the silver windows of the Takara version, but they failed to paint the back windows of the canopy. He’s a fighter jet, not a jumbo jet. Those rear windows should be painted.
