Blog #1450: Toy Review: Transformers: Generations: Power of the Primes Voyager Elita-1

Transformers: Generations: Power of the Primes Voyager Elita-1

Click here to read about how Hasbro ruined the Power of the Primes line before it even started.

Elita-1 is repainted and remolded from Power of the Primes Starscream. Read my review of Starscream here.

Elita-1

Enigma of Combination: Hasbro started with Titan Masters. Then they decided to do Titan Masters without faces and call them Prime Masters. Now they are including non transforming plastic cubes shaped like Titan Masters without faces. Hasbro has achieved the ultimate in stupid. Bravo, Hasbro.

Elita-1 has most of the same design flaws as Starscream. She has a great paint job and head sculpt, but does not have Starscream’s enormous feet. For some reason they gave her a pair of tiny guns that look ridiculous.

Elita-1 is a component of Combiner Orthia along with Power of the Primes Deluxe Moonracer, Power of the Primes Deluxe Novastar, Siege Deluxe Greenlight, and Selects Deluxe Lancer.

Overall: I like Elita-1 more than Starscream, which isn’t saying much. Like Starscream, though she has the ability to combine, but it does not appear that she actually has a combined mode. There are not enough limbs in the line for her. For details on why, read my review of New York Toy Fair 2018.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
