Transformers: The Last Knight Tiny Turbo Changers Series 2 (Barricade, Berserker, Bumblebee, Chopter, Cogman, Drift, Hot Rod, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Shockwave, Sqweeks, Sky Camo Starscream)
Transformers: The Last Knight Toy Reviews
Tiny Turbo Changers Series 2 is damn near impossible to find. I found one box with 22 left in it at a Target and was able to get a full set and the empty box. I have never seen them again.
Barricade, Berserker, Bumblebee
Barricade and Berserker aren’t bad, but would look so much better with more paint apps. Bumblebee is identical to the one released in Series 1, though his instruction book now say Series 2 on it. Read my review of Bumblebee here.
Chopter, Cogman, Drift
Chopter is a repaint of Blackout. He looks decent. Neither Cogman nor Drift have their windows painted, which sucks. Robot modes don’t look bad, but again, they needed paint apps. Not sure why Drift isn’t black. Read my review of Blackout here.
Hot Rod, Megatron, Optimus Prime
Hot Rod looks great, or at least he would if he actually had some paint apps. Megatron’s jet mode looks weird. It’s not well designed. Like Bumblebee, Optimus Prime is identical to Series 1 except for his instruction book which now says Series 2. Read my review of Optimus Prime here.
Shockwave, Sqweeks, Sky Camo Starscream
Shockwave and Sqweeks are two of the better toys in this line. I really like the look of both. A few more paint apps would have been nice. Sky Camo Starscream looks more like Thundercracker. Not sure why they just didn’t call him that. Read my review of Starscream here.
Overall: It would have been nice if these had better paint jobs. I would have to recommend them. Hot Rod, Drift, Shockwave, and Squeeks are the standouts.
