Transformers: The Last Knight Deluxe Crosshairs
Transformers: The Last Knight Toy Reviews
Crosshairs
Read my review of Transformers Age of Extinction Crosshairs.
Vehicle Mode: Crosshairs vehicle mode has been completely remolded and he looks great. He has a great paint job, including his taillights. The painted hubcaps look great. The dark headlights look much better than the clear ones the AOE version had.
Robot Mode: In robot mode Crosshairs has significant remolding as well. His rubbery plastic trench coat has been replaced with hard plastic pieces. It doesn’t quite simulate the coat as well, but I hate that soft plastic. His arms and shoulders have been remolded, and look great. He has a new head sculpt. I can’t say I like either sculpt better than the other, but I like the paint job on the Age of Extinction version better with the black on his head.
Overall: This is a great Crosshairs, and overall better than the Age of Extinction version. It is unfortunate that Hasbro chose to save the better toys in the line to release in the later waves that may not ever seen wide release at retail. I have yet to see a single Wave 2 Deluxe in a brick and mortar store. In fact, I keep seeing more Wave 1 show up in stores. I have only once seen Voyager Wave 2 in stores, though I am starting to see Wave 3 all over. Maybe if they stopped making crappy repaints in the early waves, they could actually get the new toys into stores.
Thanks for reading!
