Transformers: The Last Knight Toy Reviews

Jada, a company I’ve never heard of before, is making die cast vehicles based on The Last Knight vehicles. Oddly, missing from any of the announced assortments is Drift, but Optimus Prime, Barricade, Bumblebee, and Crosshairs are coming out at 1:24, 1:32, and 1:64 scale vehicles. Hot Rod is also coming out, I believe at all scales, as an exclusive at Walmart. The 1:24 Scale Vehicles also come with or without a collector coin. I probably won’t bother put up separate reviews of the non coin versions when I find them as they are the same toys.

Barricade looks amazing! He even comes with his detachable weapons rack. Unfortunately, they failed to use the correct Decepticon police logo, as has been the case on all other Barricade toys for The Last Knight. Instead he carries the standard Decepticon logo. Other than that he’s perfect.

Bumblebee looks great. I love the paint job. It’s probably the best painted Bumblebee toy we’re likely to get for The Last Knight.

Crosshairs looks really great. I’m tempted to open theses, especially crosshairs as his hood has come open in the box, but for now I’m leaving them in the box.

Like Hasbro’s Speed Stars and R.P.M.’s before, the robot mode is on the bottom of the vehicle. This really adds nothing to the toys in my opinion.

Overall: I like theses, but it’s sad that the best looking vehicle versions of may of these toys won’t actually transform.

Thanks for reading!

I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
