Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) Mini-Con Battle Packs 4-Pack Wave 2 (Hammer, Undertone, Anvil, Slipstream)

Anvil

Anvil is still a ball.  The color change won’t help that.

Hammer

I don’t understand why they would repaint a toy in colors that aren’t all that different from the original.

Slipstream

This is the only toy worth buying the set for.  This is an all new Slipstream who, instead of transforming into a projectile, transforms into a gun.  Targetmasters are the best masters, and it is what all Mini-Cons always should have been.  He looks really cool in robot and gun mode.  It’s really unfortunate that we’ll never get to see any weapon Mini-Cons in the cartoon, as it’s already over.  Though they may be doing a movie, so I suppose we could still be seeing them briefly.  Seriously, I wish Hasbro would stop trying to reinvent the wheel.  Stay with a  series for three or four years instead of ending it in two years.  Give it a chance to grow.

Undertone

Another ball.  How underwhelming.

Overall: It might be worth getting this set for Slipstream, but I can’t imagine another reason to.
