This toy sucks.  First off, the shoulder problem which was first identified with it’s first use as Blitzwing has never been fixed even though this mold has been used multiple times.  It’s just awful.  His left shoulder will not stay together properly at all.  It is worse than Blitzwing.  The mold still has all it’s other original flaws.  You can read my review of Blitzwing for details.  His jet mode looks okay for Starscream, but the biggest problem with this toy, even with all the flaws, is the price.  Apparently the Japanese retail price for these is about $58 USD, which is more than twice the retail price for USA voyager toys.  That is ridiculous.  This entire line is insanely overpriced, so much so that this and Brawn are the only ones I’m planning on getting because they have new molding.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
