Blog #307: Toy Reviews: Transformers Rescue Bots Electronic Optimus Prime and Bumblebee

Transformers Rescue Bots Electronic Optimus Prime and Bumblebee

This was an interesting find at Walmart this weekend.  I don’t recall hearing that there was going to be a second series of Electronic Rescue Bots, but I found Optimus Prime and Bumblebee.  Not too much to say about these.  The Optimus Prime has a saw that you can make spin with the button on his forearm.  It’s a really nice action feature.  Bumblebee’s drill spins and opens up to reveal a cannon.  Not bad toys, but nothing really special, accept that this is as close to a G1 Optimus Prime in this type of toy that we’re ever likely to see.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
