Blog #262: Toy Review: Transformers Prime First Edition Deluxe Terrorcon Cliffjumper

Transformers Prime First Edition Deluxe Terrorcon Cliffjumper

Toys R Us Exclusive Transformers Prime First Edition Deluxe Terrorcon Cliffjumper is a repaint of the SDCC 2012 Rust in Peace Cliffjumper.  You can read my review of the SDCC version here.  I’m going to focus on the differences between the two toys.

The differences between the TRU retail and SDCC 2012 Terrorcon Cliffjumper are pretty straightforward.  The TRU Retail version is lighter red that the SDCC version.  It is also missing the energon tampos on his left rear fender, left trunk, right front fender, right door, and left thigh.  He’s also missing the crack in the windshield.  The only other difference is the three-barrel cannons that you can flip out in place of his hands.  The TRU retail version has them painted silver, while it is just left black on the SDCC version.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
