Blog #193: Toy Review: Transformers Kre-O Street Showdown (Wheeljack & Knock Out)

Transformers Kre-O Street Showdown

Please read this blog first with my overall thoughts on the second series of Kre-O sets.

Building Set: Both Wheeljack and Knock Out have decent enough robot modes with great head sculpts.  Wheeljack is very G1.  My only real complaint about Knock Out is the gray chest.  They should have made it red like the rest of him.  Neither have real hands, which is annoying to me.  Wheeljack has fingers sort of, but Knock Out has claws.  It would have been so easy to give them hands.  It’s a shame.  The play set consists of a barricade and two cones.  Big deal.  The vehicle modes are a different matter.  Neither is very good, but at least having one mode that is decent is something.

Kreons: I love the G1 Wheeljack Kreon.  Knock Out looks okay, but it’s nothing special.  There are two human drivers also.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
