Finally, on my third attempt I’ve managed to get my hands on a USA/Australian boxed version of Transformers: Dark of the Moon Human Alliance Soundwave with Laserbeak and Mr. Gould.

First off, if you haven’t read it, I would recommend you read my review of the Chinese version of this toy.

Now, as for this version, it is identical to the one I got in the Chinese box, so if you’re read the other review, that’s really it.  All the paint and plastic colors match and I can’t find any differences in the mold.  So, other than the box, the only difference between these toys is that the Chinese one comes with a second instruction book in Chinese.  If you’re looking for the toy and don’t care about the box, either version will do.

In case it’s of interest to anyone, this version has the Australian distribution information on the bottom of the box similar to the Transformers: Dark of the Moon Deluxe Soundwave I got did (with the exception of the Chinese label).  You can read that review here.

That’s about it.  Not much of a review, but that’s how it goes sometimes.

Here’s a Transformers Artifact of the Week, since I haven’t done one in a while.

This is an unusual item.  From what the ebay auction said this was a press item from Toy Fair.  It includes the season premiere episodes of Transformers Prime and Transformers Rescue Bots.  I haven’t had a chance to see if there is anything other than the episodes on the disk, but it if nothing else it’s a unique item.  As always you can find over 8000 Transformers items at TFMuseum.com.
