Posted on May 26, 2013 by lmb3

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Skystalker Vehicle Mode: The light blue, dark blue, and white isn’t a bad color scheme, but I’m just not sure I like it on this mold.  His rear legs are entirely too long.  His neck … Continue reading →

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Ratchet Vehicle Mode: I like it.  I think.  I think I’d like it better without the tan plastic.  If that were white, or red, or maybe even another color, he would look better.  Not awful … Continue reading →

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Deluxe Dreadwing Vehicle Mode: I love his jet mode, I’m just not crazy about his weapons.  I don’t mind so much the staff under the jet, but the only place to put the launcher is on … Continue reading →

Blog #388: Toy Review: Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander Starscream

Posted on May 26, 2013 by lmb3

Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander Starscream Vehicle Mode: Starscream has a really nice jet mode, but I’m not crazy about the missile underneath the fuselage.  He would look much better if he had smaller missiles under each wing.  The … Continue reading →

Posted on May 26, 2013 by lmb3

Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander Shockwave Vehicle Mode: Shockwave’s tank mode suffers from a lack of parts locking in place.  His front and rear treads have no set position, a real negative for me.  I do otherwise really like … Continue reading →

Transformers Prime Beast Hunters Voyager Shockwave Vehicle Mode: I like Shockwave’s vehicle mode for the most part.  I kind of wish the arms folded along the side of the vehicle instead of sticking out like that.  I also wish his … Continue reading →

Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander Hardshell Vehicle Mode: I’ve never been a huge fan of insect transformers.  In robot mode their extra legs are always in the way and their bug modes never look great.  I can’t say I’m … Continue reading →

Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters Legion 2013 Wave 2 (Hun-Gurrr, Prowl, Soundwave) Hun-Gurrr Vehicle Mode: Hun-Gurrr is the second member of the Terrorcons.  Unlike the original G1 toy, Cyberverse Legion Hun-Gurrr stands on his hind legs like a T-Rex, where he … Continue reading →

Transformers: Prime Beast Hunters Cyberverse Commander Trailcutter Vehicle Mode: Trailcutter is an extensively remolded repaint of Cyberverse Commander Ironhide.  I love what they’ve done with his vehicle mode, adding the plow on the front and the guns on the hood.  … Continue reading →
