Blog #3025: Toy Review: Transformers: The Movie: Studio Series Voyager Class Thundercracker

Transformers: The Movie: Studio Series Voyager Class Thundercracker

Thundercracker

Vehicle Mode: Thundercracker looks great. He now has an opening cockpit and front landing gear (the landing gear being my only complaint about the previous mold). He is meant to be animation accurate, so no striping on his vertical tail fins.

Robot Mode: Thundercracker looks great in robot mode. He does not have the annoying shoulders of the previous version, and looks more like the animation model.

Overall: We were bound to get a new jet mold eventually. This one is great and the landing gear is a huge addition, but only marginally better than the last one, so I don’t know that I can call him a must have.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
