Blog #2567: Toy Review: Transformers Legacy United 4-Pack (Prime Cliffjumper, Squeezeplay, Tarantulas, Tarn)

Transformers Legacy United 4-Pack (Prime Cliffjumper, Squeezeplay, Tarantulas, Tarn)

Prime Cliffjumper

Vehicle Mode: Prime Cliffjumper’s vehicle mode looks pretty good, though it’s not an exact match to his original toy or animation model. Paint apps are minimal, but he doesn’t really need a lot. In typical Hasbro fashion, he has no rear window.

Robot Mode: He looks great in robot mode. I love Cliffjumper’s head sculpt.

Squeezeplay

Previous Mold Use: Titans Return Deluxe Class Mindwipe, Takara Legends Deluxe Class Mindwipe, Takara Legends Deluxe Class Convobat, Generations: Retro Headmasters Deluxe Class Mindwipe, Universal Monsters Deluxe Class Draculus

I was a little shocked when I found out Squeezeplay was a remold of Mindwipe. I couldn’t imagine how that would work, but he looks great. They did an excellent job on him.

Tarn

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Evolution Voyager Class Tarn, Legacy Evolution Voyager Class Bludgeon

Did we really need another one?

Tarantulas

Previous Mold Use: Legacy Deluxe Class Tarantulas, Beast Wars Again Deluxe Class Tarantulas

Tarantulas now has a toy accurate head and paintjob. He looks great.

Overall: Cliffjumper and Squeezeplay are must haves, unfortunately, Tarn comes along with them. Nothing wrong with Tarantulas, but I’d hardly call him a must have.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
