Transformers: Retro: Transformers: The Movie Thundercracker

The box has a flap, which would be great if the box had a window. If it’s not going to have a window, they are just wasting the box flap. This plastic free packaging sucks balls.

Previous Mold Review: Vintage G1 Reissue Starscream, Retro TF:TM Starscream

Like Starscream, Thundercracker uses the same mold and accessories as the Walmart Vintage G1 line, now repainted to match Thundercracker’s appearance in Transformers: The Movie. I love the idea of this, but honestly, he looks like a knockoff missing the stickers. He just doesn’t look right without the stickers. Though he has an amazing fully painted face. That is AWESOME!

Overall: Thundercracker is a must have just for the fully painted face. I hope they release Skywarp with the painted face too. Still hoping for the cone heads too.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
