Artifact of the Week: Transformers 2018 Racers Bumblebee & Optimus Prime

This is more of a future artifact as they just came out. Dated last year, Transformers 2018 Racers Bumblebee and Optimus Prime. Produced by Forever Clever and released at Five Below stores, first saw these online several weeks ago, and burned half a tank of gas driving around eastern Massachusetts looking for these things on Friday. I ended up finding one in Everett and the other in Lowell. The closer stores to me I usually go to haven’t had any and the one with someone who knew how to actually look stuff up in their computer said they had none coming in. They are a bit bizarre being non-transforming vehicles with the their heads and one arm sticking out. For $5 they are pretty decently sized. Oddly, they say “Autobot & Decepticon Racers” on them, yet there are no Decepticons.

Bumblebee

Optimus Prime

As always, you can find over 18,000 Transformers artifacts from every Transformers series and generation at TFMuseum.com.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
