Blog #2357: Toy Review: Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Beast Battle Masters Wave 1 (Cheetor, Rhinox, Skullcruncher)

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Beast Battle Masters Wave 1 (Cheetor, Rhinox, Skullcruncher)

Cheetor

Beast Battle Masters are essentially Beast Wars Targetmasters, and Cheetor is very cool. He looks great in cheetah mode. They could have made his body yellow, but I actually like the yellow and gray. He turns into a blade, though he can’t be held as a traditional sword as he can only be held like a gun. He’s probably best used mounted on a forearm.

Rhinox

Rhinox is pretty cool. His rhino mode is pretty great, and I love his gun mode as a rotating barrel gatling gun. Many have noted that it kind of looks like he has a gun barrel sticking out of his rear end, which is funny enough. I however think he kind of looks like a… Well, he’s sort of a… Why don’t I just show you.

Well, they say a photo is worth a thousand words so, enough said.

Skullcruncher

I think Skullcruncher is my favorite of the three. His gun mode is awesome. Accept for that post sticking up form his tail he looks great in alligator mode.

Overall: I love these Beast Battle Masters. I really hope we are getting more of these.

Thanks for reading!

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
