Blog #2295: Toy Review: Transformers: Legacy Combiner Stunticon Menasor

Transformers: Legacy Combiner Stunticon Menasor

Menasor

Menasor is now complete, such as he is. I mostly like Combiner Wars Menasor better. To start with, I get doing animation versions and toy versions, but there are places where the animation sucked, and I think they would have done well to recognize and correct the previous mistake. His arms and torso look fine, but I hate his legs. If you didn’t know his legs were made up of two other bots, but would never know it from looking at him. My only major complaint about Combiner Wars Menasor, other than swapping out a team member fuck you IDW, was the head. It was garbage and looked nothing like the toy. This head looks fine as an animated head, but I’m even more pissed Combiner Wars Menasor didn’t have a toy version head now. His sword is fine, but that gun sucks. There is also a big piece of his trailer that is just left over. You can put it on his back like a wing as shown above, but that is as stupid as not having it integrated.

Overall: For me, Legacy Menasor is a swing and a miss, though I suspect if you want him to look like the animation, you will probably be happy with him.

Overall: Dead End is a must have.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
