Blog #2287: Toy Review: Transformers: Legacy Deluxe Class Skullgrin

Transformers: Legacy Deluxe Class Skullgrin

Skullgrin

Vehicle Mode: Skullgrin looks great in tank mode. His tank mode is based loosely on his G1 inner robot vehicle mode. It’s a huge improvement over the original. I love the look and the colors.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Skullgrin is awesome. He’s based on his Pretender shell. His head sculpt looks great. His weapons can be configured in many configurations.

Overall: I can’t recommend Skullgrin enough, though many have some mold issues due to the plastic bands around his horns. We need plastic trays and windows. This new packaging is actively damaging toys.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
