Transformers: Collaborative: GI Joe Megatron H.I.S.S. Tank & Baroness

Baroness

I am really disappointed in Baroness. It seems like a regular retail Baroness figure. I can’t believe she doesn’t come with a Megatron gun. Worse yet, there is almost nothing on the package to even connect it to Transformers. All they did was put the Transformers Collaborative logo on it add Megatron’s gun on the vehicle mode. Otherwise it’s basically a GI Joe figure on a GI Joe card. Very underwhelming.

Vehicle Mode: While the Baroness may be underwhelming, Megatron is anything but. I was into GI Joe when I was a kid, and I always wanted, and never got, a H.I.S.S. tank. It was well worth the wait. Megatron looks amazing. I do wish he had come with a second figure, since the H.I.S.S. needs a pilot and a gunner.

Robot Mode: Megatron’s robot mode is really great, but not perfect. I don’t mind the black shoulders, but they are so big that they had to give him a shorter gun. If they had folded up smaller, he could have had a more accurate gun. Other than that, he looks fantastic.

Overall: Megatron is an absolute must have, and I can’t believe it’s taken so long for Hasbro to do this. My questions is, are we going to get more? We need an Optimus Prime at least. I think the MOBAT tank is the only real option for him, though in one crossover, Optimus Prime was a H.I.S.S. Tank, so they could just swap out some parts of Megatron to make Optimus Prime.
