Blog #1899: Toy Review: Transformers: Cyberverse Target Exclusive Repugnus Revenge Box Set

Transformers: Cyberverse Target Exclusive Repugnus Revenge Box Set

Pesticons

The box calls these mini versions of Repugnus Pesticons, but they do not have individual names. It’s nice that we get them in three different colors. Hasbro couldn’t be bothered to do that with the Mini Sharkticons in Sharkticon Attack Box Set.

Repugnus

Previous Mold Use: Cyberverse One Step Changer Repugnus

Repugnus appeared in the cartoon, but I can’t say I remember if he was a Decepticon or not. Pretty sure he was an Autobot, he always has been in the past. In any case, this is a really cool repaint. I love the color choices, they looks great on this mold. I just don’t understand why they are incapable of painting his face. It would make the toy look 1000% better.

Overall: The Pesticons are new molds, and the Repugnus repaint is very cool, so I think this set is a must have.

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
