Blog #1846: Toy Review: Transformers: Generations: Earthrise Voyager Class Deluxe Cliffjumper

Transformers: Generations: Earthrise Deluxe Class Cliffjumper

Vehicle Mode: Cliffjumper looks awesome, though I don’t recall him looking quite like this in the cartoon, and certainly he doesn’t look like the G1 toy. He has the gun he used to try to assassinate Megatron in More Than Meets The Eye. The weapon can come apart and change him into his water mode that was seen in one of the G1 episodes.

Robot Mode: Cliffjumper looks great in robot mode. I love his face sculpt. A section of his back can be removed and used like a shield. His weapon can be used in multiple configurations.

Overall: They are certainly starting Earthrise off right. Cliffjumper is awesome, though he is way smaller than most deluxe toys. Even with his large weapon, I feel cheated paying $20 for him, but he is a great toy.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
