Bumblebee

Previous Mold Review: Cyberverse Warrior Sting Shot Bumblebee, Cyberverse Warrior Class Hive Swarm Bumblebee

This Bumblebee is remolded from the original version of this mold, not the Hive Swarm version. His vehicle mode has been completely transformed into a Cybertronian vehicle without wheels. Not sure if he’s meant to be a hovering vehicle, or one that actually flies. Pretty cool looking. I wish he had a few more paint apps. What else is knew? In robot mode his remolded parts are those of his vehicle mode. Doesn’t look like they made any changes specifically for his robot mode. His color changes are mostly blue to black.

Overall: I like this Bumblebee. It’s an interesting vehicle mode. What bothers me most is that he should be called Cybertronian Bumblebee, or Cybertron Mode Bumblebee, or something like that. The packaging is the new purple packaging, but unless you know what you’re looking for he would be easy to confuse with the original. Really poorly done, Hasbro.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
