Transformers: Cyberverse Warrior Class Fusion Mace Megatron (Cybertronian)

Megatron

Previous Mold Review: Cyberverse Warrior Class Fusion Mace Megatron

The original Warrior Class Megatron has been remolded into his Cybertronian alternate mode. He now has no treads and no cannons on his front fenders, so I assume he’s a hover tank. In robot mode he now has a new fusion cannon that looks a lot less like his actual fusion cannon. His legs have been remolded. He now has pink paint apps, as well as some other color differences, notably his upper legs, and his stomach. Unfortunately they did nothing to fix the problem of his mace hanging limply from the end of his arm, nor did they remold his arms so his hand and mace can fold down in vehicle mode.

Overall: This Megatron is fine, I guess. What bothers me most is that he should be called Cybertronian Megatron, or Cybertron Mode Megatron, or something like that. The packaging is the new purple packaging, but unless you know what you’re looking for he would be easy to confuse with the original. Really poorly done, Hasbro.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
