Galactic Man Shockwave

Previous Mold Use: Siege Leader Class Shockwave

Galactic Man Shockwave is based on Galactic Man, which was a G1 Shockwave in gray with a decidedly more phallic trigger that was sold by Radio Shack way back during the 1980s. I never had a Shockwave when I was a kid, but I did have a Galactic Man, or a Shackwave as he has become known in the fandom. This toy is beautiful. He’s done all in gray, slate gray, silver, and black.

Overall: A big part of collecting toys for many of us is nostalgia, and I fondly remember my Shackwave, that regrettably did not survive my childhood. This is an awesome looking toy, and I highly recommend him. However, if you don’t have fond memories of Shackwave, then this one might be an easy skip.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
