Blog 1634: Toy Review: Transformers: Keshi Surprise! Series 1 Autobots (Bumblebee, Grimlock, Ironhide, Jazz, Optimus Prime, Wheeljack) and Decepticons (Laserbeak, Megatron, Shockwave, Shrapnel, Soundwave, Starscream)

Transformers: Keshi Surprise! Series 1 Autobots (Bumblebee, Grimlock, Ironhide, Jazz, Optimus Prime, Wheeljack) and Decepticons (Laserbeak, Megatron, Shockwave, Shrapnel, Soundwave, Starscream)

I have mixed feelings on these. On the one hand, for $96 you can get a full set of all six Autobot decoys in all four colors or all six Decepticon decoys in all for colors. No hunting if you want them all. On the other hand, $192 is a lot for decoys. Each decoy comes with a matching character sticker. The stickers are the same no matter which color figure they come with. The decoys seem to me to be slightly larger than the originals, though I can’t put my hands on mine at the moment to check. They are certainly new molds. I really don’t have anything to say about them. If you only want red Autobots and Purple Decepticons, look on eBay, some sellers have had sets by color. I will say this for Super 7. The bags the figures are packed in inside the boxes are big enough that not a single sticker I got was damaged. Loyal Subjects could take a lesson on that. Every single tech spec card I ever got out of those was in some way damaged.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
