Vehicle Mode: From the photos I saw online before getting Hot Rod, I can’t say that I loved his vehicle mode, but having it in hand, it is growing on me a lot. The only issue I have is the bottom front of his car mode. It’s kind of open where he should have a grill and bumper.

Robot Mode: Hot Rod looks great in robot mode. I just don’t like the black plastic at his neck. It looks out of place. It should have been red or yellow. He could have used a few more paint apps. His arms are very plain, some flames would have looked great on them.

Overall: Highly recommended.
