Blog #1620: Toy Review: Transformers Masterpiece Movie Bumblebee (Bumblebee Movie)

Transformers Masterpiece Movie Bumblebee (Bumblebee Movie)

Bumblebee

Vehicle Mode: Bumblebee’s vehicle mode is perfect. They did an amazing job on him. His headlights, taillights, and blinkers are all painted. The silver hubcaps look great. The only issue, and it’s not a huge one is, the black plastic square sticking down behind his front wheels. There is just barely enough clearance for him to roll on a perfectly flat surface. He looks so amazing, that it doesn’t bother me too much, but it is clearly a design flaw that should have been addressed during the design process.

Robot Mode: He looks great in robot mode. If not exactly right out of the movie, pretty close. He has a battle mask, forearm mounted sword, and cannon.

Overall: Bumblebee looks awesome. I highly recommend him.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
