Blog #1618: Toy Review: Transformers Rescue Bots Motorized Flip Racers Play Sets Wave 1 (Heatwave and Quickshadow)

Transformers Rescue Bots Motorized Flip Racers Play Sets Wave 1 (Heatwave and Quickshadow)

These new Flip Racers are motorized. Pull them back and let them go.

Heatwave

Heatwave comes with a fire hydrant. If you race him into it, it knocks off the manhole cover and shows really fake water. Heatwave himself looks pretty cool.

Quickshadow

Quickshadow comes with two drums in a pen. If she hits the arm on the pen the door opens and they fall out. The problem is, that the pen is so light, if she runs into it, it just gets pushed out of the way. Quickshadow is in a race car mode. She looks great.

Overall: These things have been impossible to find. I finally found them at K-Mart, but I haven’t seen them anywhere else in store or online. I still can’t find any of the other Rescue Bots Flip Racers that were supposedly coming out this year.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
