Transformers: Studio Series Deluxe Dropkick

Dropkick

Vehicle Mode: Dropkick looks awesome in helicopter mode. I love the skull and crossbones.

Robot Mode: Unfortunately, Dropkick’s robot mode isn’t great. His wings stick out from the inside of his ankles, so you have to stand him up with feet apart. The piece of tail on his right arm does not fold in as far as the piece on the left. His engines are very loose, so they won’t stay in position on his back. On his knees you can see his taillights, but regrettably he has no car mode.

Overall: What the hell Hasbro? Have you forgotten how to make a Triple Changer? The whole point of a Triple Changer is to have three modes. I don’t see why they bother using Triple Changers if they aren’t going to make the toys Triple Changers. I see a repaint as Whirl somewhere down the line.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
