Sunstreaker comes with two additional faces, the alien mask from the G1 episode Hoist Goes Hollywood, and Chip Chase in his wheelchair.
Sunstreaker
Vehicle Mode: Sunstreaker looks great in car mode, absolutely perfect. He has a number of features. He has a flip out cannon on the rear of his car. It requires his spoiler be slip and turned to deploy it. This is from one of the G1 episodes, but I’m not sure which. It might have been the pilot, More Than Meets The Eye. He has pop up headlights, which looks really cool. I kind of wish Sideswipe had them. Interestingly, he can also be converted into a version without an exposed engine. This actually makes the car slightly shorter. We already got a yellow Masterpiece Sideswipe, so I’m not really sure why they added this option.
Robot Mode: In robot mode Sunstreaker is perfect. His black gun stores inside his leg (and can stay there is car mode). His head sculpt is perfect. They really did a phenomenal job on Sunstreaker.
Overall: As amazing as Sunstreaker is, he is disgustingly overpriced. Up until now the regular size Autobot cars (Sideswipe, Prowl, Smokescreen, Wheeljack, Tracks, and their numerous repaints and remolds have been $80 for initial shipments from USA sellers, not including some exclusives). The larger cars, Ironhide, Ratchet, Grapple, and Inferno have of course been more, but Sunstreaker is $120. He is clearly a more complicated toy than the previous base size cars, but is he worth half again the price? Absolutely not. I don’t know if this is because Takara raised prices, or if USA sellers did. Whatever the reason, this toy is not worth $120.

“Oh, but the artists deserve to be compensated!” Or some other b******* excuse. They’re not getting paid more. And I’m not going to pay more for this. Let me know when the knock off comes out.
