Transformers Jollibee (Philippines) Exclusives, Cybertron Jetfire, Movie Barricade & Megatron, Revenge of the Fallen Ironhide

Jollibee is a McDonald’s-ish fast food restaurant chain in the Philippines. They have had several series of Transformers exclusive toys in the past, four each for Transformers: Cybertron, Transformers, and Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. I have finally managed to get my hands on a few of them. I’m still looking for the rest.

Jetfire

Jetfire is not a great toy. He is pretty flimsy, especially in vehicle mode. I managed to get his arms to stay in the up position under his wings for the picture, but as soon as I picked him up, they fell back down. His legs to not clip in under the jet, so they just sort of hang there. That aside, he doesn’t look terrible in jet mode. He is better in much robot mode. His jet nose pegs into his waist so he stays together in robot mode. Not sure why they thought of it for his robot mode, but not in vehicle mode.

Barricade

Barricade actually looks pretty great in police car mode. When I tried to transform him one of his arms cracked, but managed to stay on. The joints are not well designed. I decided not to risk transforming him, but I doubt he looks great in robot mode.

Megatron

Megatron looks okay in vehicle mode except for his open back forming the top of the jet. He’s not too bad in robot mode. Not great either.

Ironhide

Ironhide’s base is actually a launcher. The spring is pretty strong, but he only jumps about six inches. His truck mode looks pretty great. His robot mode, not so much.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
