Transformers: Platinum Edition Trypticon

After more than twenty years Trypticon is back!  Trypticon is one of the most fun G1 toys.  He walks, he lights up, he’s a dinosaur, what more can you ask?  Articulation?  Who needs it.  There is not much to say about Trypticon.  He has just a few changes from the original.  His eyes are now metallic gold stickers rather than gold chrome.  As noted in the photo above, the two tabs on the bottom of the ramp have been removed.  Unfortunately, I can’t get my hands on my G1 Trypticon to compare him.

Overall:  If you don’t have Trypticon, this is a great opportunity to grab one.  In 2017 a wholly inferior Titan Class Trypticon will be coming out.  If it’s half as bad as Generations Metroplex, you’ll be happy to have this one.
