Transformers: Generations: Combiner Wars Deluxe Stunticon Brake-Neck

Finally, we have all the Stunticons as they were meant to be!

Vehicle Mode: Wildrider (AKA Brake-Neck) has been repainted with a new head from Dead End.  G1 Dead End was based on a Porsche, and Wildrider on a Ferrari, so that’s close enough.  (I’m sure I’ve just greatly offended some car enthusiasts.)  I’m really not sure what the deal is with the red on the sides of the car.  The G1 toy was just gray with red windows.  The G1 animation gave him a thin red stripe along the bottom edge of the car body sides, but this one has the whole side red.  I would have liked to see him just gray, or with the thin red stripe.

Robot Mode: He looks pretty great in robot mode.  He has an original G1 animation head that is a little too narrow.  It’s pretty well done, but the small protrusions on the side of his head are too small, making the head narrow to fit in the allotted space.  I would have preferred a G1 toy head to this.

Overall: A definite must for anyone who cares about respecting the source material.
