Transformers Rescue Bots Bumblebee Rescue Repair Station

This was announced during the spring or summer of 2013.  It then never materialized.  Recently I found that it was released outside the USA.  Yet another example of Hasbro stupidly not making toys available in the USA.

The Bumblebee is, as far as I can tell, the same as the regular version of Bumblebee.  This is a pretty crappy toy, to be honest.  It has the gimmick of being able to fold down flat for storage, accept for the “rescue launcher”, which is obviously not flat.  I’m sure kids could have some fun with this, but I can’t really say a lot about it.  It really pisses me that I had to pay ebay import prices on this piece of crap.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.

I’ve got Generatiosn Brainstorm right here. Haven’t had a chacnce to get him out of the box, but he looks incredible. I might need to dig out my G1 just for comparrison pics. I prefer real hasbro product to Third Party toys, and this one feels like Hasbro’s declaration of war of the Third Party companies.
