Transformers: Age of Extinction Titan Guardians Wave 1 (Optimus Prime & Grimlock)
I don’t mean to state the obvious, but these are not wonderful toys, at least not for collectors. What they are is meant for younger kids. I don’t like these as much as the Titan Heroes. They have less detail and are enormous, but I think younger kids will like them.
Titan Guardians Optimus Prime
Maybe it’s me, but his head sculpt looks very G1. If he had a few more paint apps, he might not be half bad, but he’s just too plain.
Titan Guardians Grimlock
I kind of like it. A few more paint apps, maybe some metallic silver, and I really think this one would be pretty cool. As is, it’s a really cool mold, but nothing special.
Overall: They aren’t as good as the Titan Heroes, but the molds are decent.

The one thing I can say for these- if you think of them like the Shogun Warriors/Jumbo Machinder figures – they’re not bad. I wish Optimus fired a missle or had an action feature, but at least he has some size:-)
