Transformers Generations Deluxe Skids with Comic Book

Vehicle Mode: I really like Skids vehicle mode.  I’m not crazy about the red painted hub caps, I’d have rather they put some additional white and red stripes on the hood and roof, but it doesn’t look bad.  He has two different guns that mount on the sides of the car.  Unfortunately, one is smaller than the other, but it’s better than only having a gun for one side.  I did have a little trouble getting the side panels of the cars to stay in place.  It could have used a tab to snap in place.  I will be interested to see if the planned Crosscut repaint has that fixed.

Robot Mode: The red, blue, and gray color scheme looks awesome on him.  He’s absolutely armed to the teeth with guns on each side of his wrist, and two on each shoulder, plus his hand guns.  I really like this one.

I really hope somewhere down the line they repaint him in orange and in green to be movie Mudflap and Skids.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
