Vehicle Mode: Beast Fire Predaking is a pretty awesome toy.  He’s big and well detailed.  He has a really neat action feature.  There is a tab you push down on the side of his dragon neck and it makes his head come forward, his mouth open, and his head light up.  It’s really cool.  Another nice feature is that his wings are easily removable.  This makes him easy to store if need be.

Robot Mode: He looks just awesome in robot mode.  That sword is very cool an I love his head sculpt.  One thing I noticed about him is that I didn’t drop one f-bomb while transforming him.  This is a rarity in the last few years as Hasbro has made transformations more an more complex to the point that they are way too complex.  If this is what Hasbro meant when they talked about simplifying toys next year (click here for details) then I really have no complaints.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
