Vehicle Mode: The original Wheeljack is one of my favorite Prime toys.  I really like the way he looks in vehicle mode.  The spikes look really great.  I’m not a big fan of his new weapon.  I also don’t really like the weathered look, but I like it a lot better than the orange splotches on Bumblebee.

Robot Mode: He looks really cool in robot mode.  One of the reasons I don’t like his weapons is that he can’t really hold it as anything other than a staff.  The bigger problem is that his elbow joints are so loose that he can’t hold his arms up even without the weapon.  I’m not sure if this is mold degradation, poor quality control, bad design, a random bad figure, or if Hasbro is just making stuff so cheaply that it’s crap.  IN any event this really stinks.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
