Blog #215: Toy Reviews: Kabaya Fortress Maximus with Cliffjumper & Windcharger

Kabaya has done something new with its latest wave of model kits.  All three kits combined can for Fortress Maximus.  They are also much larger than their previous kits.  Two of the kits also come with miniature versions of Powerglide and Windcharger, while the third has Cerebrose.

Powerglide and Windcharger

These aren’t great, they are tiny and meant to be used with Fortress Maximus.  My question is, will there be more of them?  If there will be then that’s fine, but if these are the only ones being done on this scale, I would rather they skipped them.

Fortress Maximus & Cerebrose

This is just plain awesome!  They did an amazing job on Fort Max.  My only complaint is that he needed more stickers.  For example, he should have stickers on the gun covers on his forearms and also his feet.  There are some other places that looks like they were designed with the intention of having stickers, but don’t have them.  It would have been nice if they had included Gasket and Grommet instead of Powerglide and Windcharger.  In the end though, it’s such a great looking toy that those things can be overlooked.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
