Transformers Universal Studios Exclusive Deluxe Optimus Prime & Bumblebee

To put it bluntly, these are overpriced and unless you’re a crazy completest like me who has to have the tech spec card, you won’t want to bother.  More down below.  You can read my review of Evac here.

The Optimus Prime is a repackaged Transformers Dark of the Moon Walmart Exclusive Deluxe Optimus Prime.  The Bumblebee is a Transformers Dark of the Moon Deluxe Bumblebee, also repackaged.  The worst part of it is that these two still readily available toys (in many stores and on clearance to boot) have been repacked and jacked up in price to $22 each (that is retail at Universal Studios and that doesn’t account for ebay pricing).  Couldn’t Hasbro have at least added Universal logos onto the doors?  Maybe just some minor color change?  Just something so that I don’t feel like I’ve been completely ripped off.  It would have been so simple to make some small change to make it worth it.  Instead, crap.  Oh well.

If by some chance you are as crazy as I am and do want to pick these up, you may have trouble finding them.  Very few have been on ebay since there is so little demand for them.  You will certainly have an easier time finding Evac.
