Blog #2932: Toy Review: Fans Toys Jabber (Third Party Transformers G1 Blurr)

Fans Toys Jabber (Third Party Transformers G1 Blurr)

Accessories

Blurr comes with an alternate face and alternate clear windshield as well as his Targetmaster partner Haywire. Haywire looks great, though he could have used a few paint apps.

Blurr

Vehicle Mode: Blurr looks incredible. He’s absolutely perfect in car mode. I will say transforming him was not fun at all. A part broke off as soon as I tried to transform him from robot mode. As it happens, that part being broken off made him easier to transform on that side, and you can’t even tell he’s broken. It took me an hour to get the other side transformed. At one point I considered breaking it just to get him transformed.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Blurr is awesome. His head sculpt is perfect as are his paint apps.

Overall: He is a bit pricey, but I can’t recommend him enough.

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
