Ocular Max Grifter (Transformers G1 Hubcap)

Vehicle Mode: Hubcap looks pretty cool in vehicle mode, though he is packaged in robot mode, so I had to wrestle him into vehicle mode, which I did not enjoy in the least. Some of his panels still aren’t quite closed. Still great looking though.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Hubcap looks great. He comes several weapons. I like his head sculpt, but don’t love it.

Compared to X-Transbots Coprimozzo: While Grifter is a good toy, when placed beside X-Transbots Coprimozzo, it’s clear he is the inferior toy. Pretty much everything about Coprimozzo is better from the look of his car mode to his head sculpt. Honestly, if I did not have Coprimozzo, I probably would like Grifter’s head more. In robot mode Coprimozzo looks a lot more G1 than Grifter does.

Overall: I only paid $20 for Grifter, and if you can get him at that price, he’s a no brainer, but he is inferior to Coprimozzo. Well, I guess Grifter has a better name.
