The robot mode picture of Ginrai is terrible. His arms and thighs are dark red, though he looks black in the pic.

Ginrai (Optimus Prime)

Vehicle Mode: Ginrai is in his original toy colors. He looks great in vehicle mode, though his Powermaster falls out if you look at him funny. For a toy this expensive to have such an obvious design flaw is unforgiveable.

Robot Mode: In robot mode Ginrai looks great. I love his paintjob.

Overall: This toy is for completists only. Without the trailer, though he looks great, he just doesn’t matter. This is not the toy that makes Godmaster Ginrai/Optimus Prime one of the great toys of all time. That one is in the next blog…
