Punch/Counterpunch

Vehicle Mode: Punch/Counterpunch’s race car mode looks amazing. He doesn’t have a ton of paint apps, but he has all the ones he needs. I love the red chrome hub caps and rubber tires.

Punch Robot Mode: I do have him mistransformed. His shoulder pads are supposed to be angles back. That aside, Punch looks pretty great. I like his head sculpt and the molded details on his chest. Very nice.

Counterpunch Robot Mode: I love the red chrome hubcaps on Counterpunch’s shoulder. He really look great in robot mode. I like his head sculpt, though not as much as Punch’s.

Overall: It seems unlikely Hasbro and Takara would ever do a Masterpiece toy of Punch/Counterpunch, given there are still so many toys they haven’t done from the first two years of Transformers (any Minibots not based on the Bumblebee mold, Dinobots other than Grimlock, Mirage, Jazz, Insecticons, Triplechangers, the list goes on). If you need a Masterpiece Punch/Counterpunch, he’s well worth picking up.
