Blog #2728: Toy Review: Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Beast Combiner Scourge and Scorponok

Transformers: Rise of the Beasts Beast Combiner Scourge and Scorponok

Similar to Cyberverse Spark Armor toys, Beast Combiners pair a figure between Scout and Deluxe sized with an animal partner that becomes armor and weapons.

Scorponok

Scorponok looks really cool. I like the colors. Cool for a non-transforming toy.

Scourge

Scourge looks okay. His upper torso, head and arms look good, but his legs are odd looking, like boxes with his legs molded on the front.

Scourge combined with Scorponok

Adding Scorponok gives Scourge four arms. I’m not sure why he needs four arms. He must be designed by the same person who designed Siege Shockwave. H’s okay.

Overall: For completists only.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
