Transformers Reactivate Bumblebee, Starscream, Optimus Prime, Soundwave

Bumblebee

Vehicle Mode: Bumblebee looks awesome in his Mad Max-ish armored dune buggy mode. I love the design and those twin submachine guns on his hood.

Robot Mode: Bumblebee’s robot mode is okay, but I’m not really impressed. I don’t love the head sculpt.

Starscream

Vehicle Mode: Starscream looks great in jet mode. I really like the design, though the coloring is a little odd. I’d love to see this mold in a G1 Starscream color scheme.

Robot Mode: Robot mode design is great, but I don’t like the uneven color scheme. There might be a reason why he has a red shoulder and a black one, but since the game was canceled, we’re never going to know. At some point Hasbro will repaint these and I really hope to get a G1 paintjob on this mold.

Optimus Prime

Vehicle Mode: I love the design of Optimus Prime’s vehicle mode. It’s awesome. My only complaint is that they seemed to have gone with a battle damaged paintjob on his bumper, the decided that was good enough and did no other battle damaged paint apps.

Robot Mode: Optimus Prime looks great in robot mode. His paint apps are perfect and I really like his had sculpt.

Soundwave

Vehicle Mode: Soundwave’s vehicle mode is an armored van, which looks pretty cool.

Robot Mode: Soundwave’s head looks too small for his body. He looks fine other than that, but I think he’s the weakest of the four toys.

Overall: Since the game has been canceled, I think it’s safe to say that while they aren’t bad, they are easy enough to skip. For completist only.
