Blog #2680: Toy Review: Transformers One One-Step Cog Changers Wave 1 and Wave 2 (Airachnid, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime)

Transformers One One-Step Cog Changers Wave 1 and Wave 2 (Airachnid, Bumblebee, Wheeljack, Megatron, Optimus Prime, Sentinel Prime)

Airachnid

Airachnid looks okay in spider mode, but she has no helicopter mode, so that sucks. In robot mode her legs are barely there are all. She, like all toys of this class, has a panel on their chest with their cog on it that unlocks their transformation.

Bumblebee

Bumblebee is a generic Cybertron looking vehicle with a Bumblebee head.

Wheeljack

Wheeljack is a generic Cybertron looking vehicle with a Wheeljack head.

Megatron

Megatron does not suck completely, but those super long treads just looks weird. In robot mode there is something odd about his face sculpt.

Optimus Prime

Vehicle mode is a bit rough. Head sculpt is decent.

Sentinel Prime

Sadly the best of the bunch, but that is not saying much.

Overall: Sentinel Prime and Airachnid are okay, but none of them are good.

Thanks for reading!

About lmb3

I’m 36 years old, and I work in network tech support for a public school system. I am a huge fan of Star Trek, Transformers, Harry Potter, and Marvel Comics as well as numerous other fandoms. I’m a big sports fan, especially the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. I collect toys (mostly Transformers but other stuff too), comic books, and Red Sox baseball cards. I watch an obscene amount of television and love going to the movies. I am hopelessly addicted to Wizard Rock and I write Harry Potter Fanfiction, though these days I am working on a couple of different original YA novels.
