Ultra Magnus

Vehicle Mode: I love Shining Urine Ultra Magnus’s cab. It’s a great design and I love the paintjob. The trailer also looks great, but it doesn’t sit level, the bed of the cab is too high.

Robot Mode: Both of Ultra Magnus’s robot modes are awesome. I love the silver paint on his waist and upper legs. Head sculpt is fantastic. In his larger robot mode he is nearly perfect. The covers over his thighs don’t quite cover all he silver. I expect to see the black of his lower legs through the yellow plastic, but you can also see it at his knees, which should not be visible.

Overall: Shining Urine Ultra Magnus was the first G1 repaint I bought way back when, so I have a soft spot in my heart for him. Even though this version has a couple of issues, it’s still a great toy. Way too expensive, but I just had to have him.
