Previous Mold Use: Studio Series Voyager Class Hot Rod

A black Hot Rod repaint. What a novel idea. Paintjob is fins, head sculpt is fine. I feel like translucent purple windows would have been more appropriate, but whatever. (Yes, I realize the original Botcon toy had red windows. Didn’t like it then, either.

Whisper

Whisper is not a remold, but he reuses feet and shoulders from previous Micromasters. He looks pretty cool in jet mode. In robot mode his head is weirdly flat.

Sideswipe

Fourteen and counting. At this point I’m afraid when I die I expect I will be reincarnated as a remold of Siege Sideswipe. Fuck. At least this one is more interesting. The colors on him are really nice. He has new weapons, a new head sculpt, and a newly molded hood, which I really like.

Overall: It’s been a while since we got a new Shattered Glass toy in this series. I’m hoping this was the last.
